Watertown Studio of Movement is a small non-competitive boutique dance studio / fitness center in Watertown, MN.
Our dance classes are geared for kids aged 2-13 years old and focus on character first, dance skills second. We believe all are created equally and will choose to love first, speak kindly of others, and serve our community.
Our studio offers a variety of dance styles including tap, jazz, ballet, and lyrical. We also offer specialty options such as worship classes open to all ages.
We frequently partner with different fitness professionals to offer fitness classes and help our community feel their best!

Amanda LeMay
FOUNDER/OWNER
Amanda grew up dancing at a small studio and with her high school dance team. She has always loved the JOY dance brings and is passionate about making the world a kinder place. Outside of the studio Amanda works full time in corporate America and enjoys spending time with her hubby, kids, and dogs!

Nicole Kochar
STUDIO AND PROGRAM DIRECTOR
Nicole has been a studio director, instructor, and choreographer for the past 24 years. She has worked with kids of all ages and has a passion for teaching dance. Outside of the studio, Nicole enjoys spending time with her husband and two amazing kids!

Solveig Carlson
DANCE TEACHER
Miss Solveig has been involved in dance since the age of four, traveling throughout the country for training and competitions in numerous styles. Competitively, as both a solo and trio member, she holds titles as a national dance champion. She now puts her passion for dance towards teaching, coaching, and performing. As an instructor, Solveig desires for people to experience the pleasure of pushing themselves to new limits and learning new skills, all the while, enjoying the wonderful gift of dance!

Chris is excited to be apart of this wonderful dance studio in Watertown with his wife, Amanda. You may see him around the studio fixing things and keeping us in tip-top shape! If you see him around you can thank him for buffing the floors.
